About DIET

DIETs are developed in 26 district of the state, to develop primary education and quality improvement programmes of GCERT Under National Educational Policy (1986) in the country. Under which the DIET Gandhinagar Came in work from 1st January 1996. The DIET is helpful in implementation of National/State educational policy under the guidance of GCERT regarding district primary education. The DIET plays important role in forming new techniques, methods of education to give suggestions & guidance to the state and nation, developing curricular, making related material etc. The financial aids is provided by the Indian Government, Gujarat Government, UNICEF and world bank.
